Terms of Service — BillZen by AARUNYA Web Solutions

Effective Date: 01 April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BillZen ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and AARUNYA Web Solutions ("Company", "we", "us").

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Software.

2. License Grant

Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BillZen for your internal business purposes only during the subscription term.

One license key is valid for one business entity and one active device at a time.
You may not share, sublicense, resell, or redistribute your license key.
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the Software is prohibited.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

BillZen is offered on yearly subscription plans. Pricing details are available on the pricing page.

Free Tier: 3 invoices permanently free, no credit card required.
Paid Plans: Billed annually. Payment is due before the subscription period begins.
No automatic renewals — you will be notified before your plan expires.
All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund policy for new subscriptions if you are not satisfied. To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of purchase at support@aarunyawebsolutions.com.

Refunds are not available after 7 days of purchase.
Renewals are non-refundable once processed.

5. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

Software Intellectual Property: AARUNYA Web Solutions retains all rights, title, and interest, including all Intellectual Property rights, in and to the BillZen Software, its core codebase, UI/UX designs, AI models, and any underlying technology. Your payment is strictly for a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software. We reserve the right to market, license, and sell the core software structure to other third parties.

Your Business Data: Your business data entered into BillZen (invoices, customers, inventory) is owned entirely by you. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data. Data is stored securely in Firebase Realtime Database with encryption at rest.

You can export your data at any time in CSV or Excel format.
Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless you request otherwise.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BillZen for:

Fraudulent, illegal, or misleading business activities.
Generating invoices for prohibited goods or services under Indian law.
Attempting to hack, interfere with, or overload our servers.
Sharing your account credentials with third parties not authorized by you.

7. Service Availability (SLA)

BillZen is an offline-first PWA. Core billing features work without internet. Cloud sync features depend on Firebase availability. We target 99.5% cloud sync uptime but do not guarantee it.

Scheduled maintenance will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance via email or WhatsApp.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AARUNYA Web Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of BillZen, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you via email at least 15 days before major changes take effect. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Madhya Pradesh, India. We encourage resolving disputes amicably via our support channel before escalation.
